Horrified fascination.

So describes my reaction to the debut of Brittany and Kevin's reality show last night. I wasn't going to watch it until BFF mentioned it--at which point I felt almost obligated to swtich it on, as well (I care about my friends too much to make them watch sucky reality shows on their own). We reconvened at commericials to discuss the trainwreck that was "Chaotic." If you missed out on the big premiere--well, words just don't do it justice. I will, however, say this: for a good 6-minutes of the hour-long episode, we watched Brittany waiting for Kevin to get out of the shower. Having said that, I kept watching it long after the banality and self-absorbtion had felled my partner in crime--and sadly, I'm pretty sure I'll be watching in the upcoming weeks, too. At this point, I just want to see how much worse it can possibly get.

On the plus side, Bo ROCKED on American Idol. Who here didn't get chills when he chose to sing his second song a'capella? It was just Bo on a darkened stage, illuminated only by a single spotlight--and, of course, the Internal Glow of Hotness that just radiates off of him. (Seriously, he just gets sexier every week.)

I do assume, of course, that you're referring to Chaotic and not AI; cuz if you WERE talking about Idol, then I'm not sure our fledgling friendship could survive such a blow.

(And no comments about "a blow," please.)

Jen- Amen on both. Bo rocked and we got sucked in to the temptation of curiosity to watch that terrible show, in which I can't believe she would agree to air. Don't forget about her spending at least 15 minutes on wanting to get her personal assistant married and/or laid.
Anna - you must watch American Idol....it is the best!

Thank gawd I didn't succumb to the temptation to see the Pop Tart and her trash, um, err, husband.

I did see Bo - he took a chance and pulled it off. Hindsight, but he should have saved it until his last song. Right now he’s looking like the favorite to win it all.

Fantasia who?

I'm pretty sure he meant the "I love Bo" thing, Nae.

Speaking of which, he just did his a capella thing AGAIN tonight. It just keeps getting better and better.

I liked Vonzell too; I thought her voice has more range and power than Carrie's.

I just hope Bo wins. Not that it really matters at this point--I'm pretty sure that even if he comes in 2nd, he's still going to get signed and I can GUARANTEE that his record would sell like crazy.
Hell, it could even be a Ruben/Clay thing, where the runner-up's success eclipses the "winner's."
