My secret indulgence.

If you know me at all, you're aware that I'm not exactly "high fashion." I buy my clothes at Target and my shoes at Payless. I get my hair cut at Supercuts/Fantastic Sam's/et. al, and "styling my hair" involves "washing and drying." I'm quite low-maintenance when it comes to my appearance in my every day life--and although I can pull myself together for, say, a job interview, a fashionista I'm not.

Having said that, there is one "beauty" area in which I go all out--perfumes (or "parfum, " as we call it in the biz). I refuse to skimp on my scents. My perfume is my signature, my "thing." It's what identifies me. It's how I leave my mark.

My latest scents have been a rotation (depending on my mood) of Romance by Ralph Lauren and True Star by Tommy (which, at $58, is actually one of my cheaper buys); however, as of this month's Glamour, I now covet Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana. Yes, THE Dolce and Gabbana. (Who the hell am I, Carson Kressley?)

So, while my closet is filled with inexpensive, designer-label-less clothes and shoes, my "scent wardrobe" is like a fashion "Who's Who."

What are YOUR fashion and beauty must-haves--price be damned?

Heavenly or Dream Angel, but Victoria Secret. I got it to wear specifically on my wedding day and it reminds me of that day and I LOVE IT!! OR Sexy, also by victoria Secret. Also enjoy Calvin Klein, but scented lotions are a wonder from Bath and body as well, i love country apple, which they have now discontinued. Good topic Jen and as far as the clothes go, I am a bargain shopper. If i have "brand" name clothes on, it means I got it from a second hand store, ebay or a friend or on sale for like 60% off. I like the bargain racks at Old Navy. if you dig hard enough you find your size, but labled with the wrong size on the hanger. Always check the pants or shirts and don't rely soley on hanger :).

My hair (having it highlighted & cut regularly)

My skin products (I'm addicted to Paula's Choice skin care)

Paula's Choice? I've never heard of those products. Where do you live, JD? Maybe it's a regional thing.

PS, last night, I won Light Blue on eBay for $33. Since it's retailing for $80+, I am VERY VERY EXCITED.

I gotta spend lots of money on shoes. And not chick shoes (high heels and stuff, but tennis shoes)! Since high school, when I could buy my own things, I've never had cheap shoes. Admittedly my feet are so small, I can still buy kids size shoes, so they're a bit cheaper, but I have to have name brand shoes. I paid almost $120 for a pair of Dr. Marten sandals and my most recent purchase was a pair of Nike Shox(not cheap shoes). Next, I'll be buying a pair of Nike Free shoes, for about $100, just so I can feel like I'm barefoot! Ironic, eh? I'm partial to Nike and K-Swiss shoes.

I also like to spend lots of money on the whores!

Well yeah, whores goes without saying.

My indulgence is also my hair. I get it chemically straightened every six months or so at $120 a pop. And don't forget cuts and colors... not sure what my color runs, but the cuts are $35.

And my friend got me hooked on Mary Kay. Mostly the cleansers and stuff, cuz I'm not too picky when it comes to the little make up that I wear.

Oops, I'm still anonymous.
