On the 31st, I told you about one of "our" heroes, Edward Myers, who was killed just days after being submitted to SA for support.
One of the other Angels posted the following article about a group of protestors at this young hero's funeral. I must warn you--if you have even an ounce of compassion, you are going to find this article hard to read.

HOWEVER, there's something you can do to help this family. I'm posting the link to an online tribute page for Spc. Myers. I beg all of you, even if you don't support the war, to please post a message of sympathy and respect for this young hero's family. I want to try to undo some of the damage that these assholes did.

ok, i looked up that minister's website. (www.godhatesfags.com). it actually has a SCHEDULE of other soldier's funerals they plan to picket. i'm speechless...and pissed off. hell is too good for people like that.

I know, sparky. Thanks for the site. I'm going to monitor it for future protests in metro Detroit and I posted a message on the SA board in case other Angels want to show up at the protests in Ohio (I CANNOT BELIEVE they're going to show up at the HQ of the unit who just lost all those Marines. Seriously, this may not be very Christian of me, but I hope they get their asses kicked).

unfortunately, he is a minister. some people are so wrapped up in what they believe that they don't care if all they are doing is spewing hate and hurting other people. and its totally gone over those dumbasses heads that these men and women are dying so that other people in other parts of the world can have the right to protest at someone else's funeral.

This makes me so sad. I am in tears. Hatred is so wrong. I can't understand how anyone could justify what they are doing. I am a firm believer in God and as a sinner I also believe in wrong doers paying for their wrong doing. These idiots will get theirs. I mean, believe what you want, but it was the man's funeral for crying out loud. At least let him RIP. Lord, these people need help.
Yeah I know, my post is a bit hypocritical cause God doesn't want me to be "spitefull" but father forgive me, these people need some serious reprimanding from God above.

Yeah, I know. I told you I was being a bit hypocritical, but hatred is so harsh. Remember our discussion about how certain sins or man's acts are worse than others? It falls in the same line. The guy that cuts me off on the highway isn't the same as the man that pickets at a funeral, the funeral of ANYONE, let alone this heros.

The only thing that gives me any comfort here is the knowledge that this guy will be met at the Pearly Gates by a soldier, sailor, airman and Marine, who will then drop-kick his ass straight to hell.
