Unbelievable.

On my way to work today, I got excited when I saw a sign for gas at the bargain price of $3.15. Yes, that's right--I now actually consider that to be a GOOD DEAL on gas.

I wonder how much gas is in Canada. Shit, I may HAVE to immigrate soon.

Yeah, it is crazy! No, you don't want to immigrate to Canada, it is over $5.00 a gallon. Shawn has friends there and he is going there this week.

Did anyone watch the Celebrity fundraiser last night? Very interesting...it is great to see celebrities using themselves for a good cause.

Well well well, look who has graced us with his presence.

Emigrate:To leave one country or region to settle in another.

Immigrate: To enter and settle in a country or region to which one is not native.

So I would be EMIGRATING from the US and IMMIGRATING to Canada...right?

Don't forget that people MIGRATE from one place to another within a country.

I have a lesson plan on the entire subject if you're ever interested...

Send it on, Fred! In fact, if you could send me every lesson plan you've ever taught, that would be great. ;)

(No, but seriously, I am teaching middle school geography, do you have anything for that? I'll let you know specific topics once I start teaching that particular period.)

No middle school geography stuff. The only geography I do is a "refresher" at the beginning of each country/civilization.

The lesson plans are in the mail...
