Too bad I didn't have my camera with me when we went to the store earlier, or you could have seen the guy SKIING down the road.
No, seriously.

Our mailbox is almost covered. Also, it appears to be drunk.

Okay, maybe it's a LITTLE pretty....
Fun trivia fact: do you see those tall-ass pine trees on the left (not the first one, but the others behind it)? My dad planted those as little saplings when Mom and he were first married--and NOW look at them. Yes, that house down there is where I actually grew up. My mom and stepdad live just a few houses away now. (Dad no longer lives in the original house.) Long story. Sure made moving easy, though.

so if y'all are so drunk that even your mailbox is tipsy...can i come to your howse?
Frickin lovely, isn't it? LOL How's your body dealing with the lack of sunshine and warmth? I figured you'd have gone into shock by now. We could build the coolest snow fort evah with all this snow. lol
Everytime I drive past that house, I think of all the memories y'all have from there. Your childhood and most of teen years were all spent on the same street, just two different houses.
I always smile warmly at that house, too, on the way to current one :-) Ah, the stolen wine coolers and sneaking rum into our cokes... LMAO
Nik: it was brutal when I first got here, but now I almost feel like I'm getting my "Michigan blood" back.
Renee: lolol. No wonder I'm an alky now...I never had a chance. =-) Drive carefully tomorrow!!!! I can't wait to get your basket of homemade goodies...I mean, to see you.
:-)))
See you tomorrow!
