Shock and awe
I cannot BELIEVE that Chris was voted off American Idol tonight.
I thought Katherine was going tonight. MAYBE Elliot (although frankly, I think he's my new front-runner now. I adore Taylor but although his likeability factor is high, I don't think he has the best singing voice of the group). But CHRIS? I thought he was a given for the final two. The only positive aspect of The Greatest Upset In Idol History is that it gives him the opportunity to go on and become the most sucessful "non-winner" ever (and he will. Oh, yes. He will).
I mean, did ANYONE see that coming?

I AGREE> pissed me right off. We even voted for Chris where I was...I think it should have been Cat, althugh I do like her. I think the final two should have been Chris and Elliot. But we will make sure his NON=WIN will be a success!

I've been watching the show these past few weeks.
My kids and hubby have watched it from the start.
I think Elliot has the best voice. I would like to have seen Elliot and Chris in the finals.
Taylor is fun, but not a great singer.
Katherine is a good singer and a beautiful girl. I don't think she is the best singer though, so unless she really shines, she may be the next to go.
I am with Anna and was watching America's Next Top Model. Which I am also addicted, but will have to admit I have had an addiction for the past three seasons. But I did consoul a girlfriend at work that was really upset about the results of American Idol too.

And I'm sorry, Paula Abdul, but I don't judge the contestants by how they look ("Well you sounded like shit tonight but YOU LOOK GREAT", or "Well it wasn't your best performance but your shoes are incredible!"), I base it on how they sound. ;) And I think he has a REALLY nice voice.
I believe its rigged. Chris did the best HANDS DOWN!! I was a little upset by this. I have sworn off American Idol for good. I have been disappointed in the show since the 2nd season. Kelly Clarkson was the only one who deserved the win and I really belived Chris was the next hope for my faith in the show, but I have been proven wrong.
A friend of mine had a good idea on the voting process, have it be where you vote for who you want to go home...
Nee- Elliot isn't good to look at, but he can sing like crazy!
