The downside:the last period before school gets out for Christmas break.OH MY GOD.If you REALLY want to punish repeat offenders, make them teach middle school the day before a major holiday break.I have a SHOE left over in my classroom. One shoe. Apparently, someone left minus a shoe.

We high school teachers get gift cards. Starbucks and Panera Bread seem to be the favorite this year.
