It's my very best dream coming true!
I just got a call for an interview at Bath and Body Works, the Happiest Place on Earth. (I applied on Saturday for a holiday job, to get me through until I can start subbing in January.) I'm going in to talk to them at 2:30....oh, I'm just DELIRIOUS at the thought of working at the Mecca of Happiness. It's like they're calling me home.
(On a side note, RIGHT after they called, Penny's called, as well, which is the other place I applied to on Saturday; however, I'm going to wait and see what happens with BBW before I call them back.)

LOL...unless I have to work. =-) Hopefully if I get hired, I'll be able to work an earlier shift that day.

Well the interview went just fine, but the hours are a little less than I was hoping for (she said MAYBE 10-20--and yes, Kish, it was the same Sara)....so I have an interview at Penny's for Tues at 11. Maybe between the two I can get enough hours. =-)
And FYI, BBW is owned by the same company that also owns Victoria's Secret, Limited, Express...so I would get employee discounts there, too. Oh, it's almost too much!! (LOL, even if I'm only working an hour a week, I'd take the job just for the discounts.)
did you tell her you were coming next weekend too? Did she know who you were once she saw you? Bummer about the hours. I bet a lot of weekends would be worked. Hopefully not this Saturday though :)
Yeah, I think she did know who I was already, and she seemed to know who I was when I came in. Yeah, I told her I'd see her on Saturday. =-) It was fun to talk to her again. I'd love to work with her, but like I said, I'm not sure about the hours.
Ooooo I'd be in such debt to have discounts at all those places!
Oddly enough, my employee discount does NOT seem to extend to members of my online blogging community.
Go figure.
