Why is the abbreviation for Missus "Mrs."? There's no "r" is Missus.
And is Miss an abbreviation for anything, or is that the word in its entirety?

"Missus" is an informal colloquialism. The abbreviation "Mrs." is short or "Mistress." Just as "Mr." is short for "Master." "Miss" used as a courtesy title before the surname or full name of a girl or single woman.
Speaking of smoking stuff...Jeff and I rent Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle tonight. It WAS funny, but I didn't like it as much as YOU seemed to. Two parts that cracked me up though: "Did Doogie Howser just steal my car?" and the "Hold On" scene in the truck or Jeep or whatever.
Okay, my NON sarcastic answer is--I don't know. Must just be another person who surfed onto my site. Because, as you know, this blog is QUITE the place to be. ;)
