Updated stats.

I went back to the Scale of Death at the mall today, and it says I've lost 6 pounds since the last time I was there.

Bust: 42 (still. of course.)
Waist: 34
Hips: 38

So, since I started tracking my measurements, I've already lost 2 inches in my waist and 1 in my hips. Plus the 6 pounds (which means I've already passed my monthly goal of 5 lbs for July--so anything more in the next week or so is just gravy...mmmm, gravy. That sounds good).

I'm happy.

Yay, GO YOU!! I am very proud of you!!
I have been wanting to exercise more and I can happily say that in the last two weeks, there has only been about two nights that I didn't do my 2 mile walk. YAY!! And the last few times, I have managed to get into a small jog. now, how the hell do I get rid of these stretch marks, ARGH!

Yeah, I've tried to jog, but it hurts. ;) The only time I run is to get out of the way of a car.

And girls, you know those jean shorts I had at the blog party? I had bought those like the week before. Well now, they're about falling off my hips. Just a little tug and they come right off.

WOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I am SO proud of you! I do hate you, though, cuz while I haven't measured or weighed myself, I'm certain there haven't been any changes, what with the vacation and eating out for every meal. Sigh.

And Kish, proud of you, too! Unfortunately, I reckon those stretch marks are there to stay... mine have been there for 4 years. While they're getting "clear", they're still quite noticeable. Fuckin things.

OMG! I was just changing clothes after Pilates, so I took my measurements, too--

Bust: 42 still
Waist: 34.5 (down an inch and a half)
Hips: 46.5 (down and inch and a half)

I think part of it is that I just got done with the Pilates class, so my muscles are all still tight and stuff, but I'm ecstatic, cuz I really thought being on vacation last week would be detrimental to my health :-)

And that Pilates class IS kicking my ass. It's only on Tues mornings, but I think I might start going to the Thursday evening one, too. And actually, now that I'm thinking about it, John tickled my sides yesterday and when I tensed up, he looked taken aback and said "There's some really hard muscle in there now!"

I ate very badly today (there may have been Burger King involved) so I'm making myself work out twice today--Tae Bo and walking.

Jen, it's good to stray from the "diet" foods every now and then, as long as it doesn't become an everyday thing, then you're good to go.
And good on ya girls!! Way to keep on pushing and seeing results. You gals are awesome and I too am proud of you! Keep up the great work.

Yeah Jen-- you can't deprive yourself of all of your favorite foods; it'll make you crave them even more! Everything in moderation is the key. The "moderation" part is what sucks :-)

I did great all day yesterday until dinner. John was in Toledo and didn't plan to be home for dinner, so I was just gonna have some soup or something. Well, he got home at 6, which was great cuz he got to spend some time with Brent before bed, but I didn't have anything planned for dinner. So we decided to get Chinese after Brent went to bed. I ate way too much. But I'm with Nik-- it's okay to splurge once in a while. You just gotta get right back on the horse!

I'm not gonna get back to the exercise place until Friday, so I might have to do a video after Brent goes to bed tonight. I do so much better in a class, though. It's too easy to stop the tape halfway through when I get tired :-)
