Yeah, I'm old.

I heard a commercial for a dance club on one of the "pop" radio stations yesterday. "Party starts at 11!" the DJ announced.

Um, hello? STARTS at 11? THAT'S PRACTICALLY THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

I wasn't always this way. In college, we'd start GETTING READY to go out around 9 or 10. Now, I consider it a "late night" if I'm OUT till 10.

I am officially old.

yeah, what is it about getting older and needing more sleep? Then it seems when you get to retirement age, you don't need sleep again. Most retired people I know are up by 4:00am and stay up watching the late news....but yeah, taco bell, easily done at 2:00am and back at it again the next night...damn those days were fun.

Same here!
I used to work the 5pm to 3am shift AT Taco Bell feeding all your drunk asses during the bar rush - Then I'd go party until 8am. Then I'd crash until about 3pm, watch a little MTV and go back to work to start the whole thing over again.
Then I went to college and majored in parties for a couple semesters. Drunk every Wed-Sat night my first quarter.
Good times, good times.

sigh... nothin like Taco Bell, is there? I didn't go to college, and I wasn't much of a drinker before 21 (alcoholism runs in the family; I was scared) other than the wine coolers Jen and I stole from her mom and the rum & cokes we'd mix after school :-)

But I'd be out "cruisin" with friends until the wee hours, and Taco Bell was almost a nightly ritual.

It was nothing to get 3 hours of sleep, go to work, go out and do it all over again. Now, if I don't get at least 6 hours of sleep, I'm a bitch. I prefer at least 8, but these fucking blogs keep me awake all night (ya know, til 11 or 12)

LOL. Those were the days. Isn't it fun to reminisce?

Me too! Now I absolutely need 6 to 8 to 10 hours of sleep.
What happened to us and our partying selves?

I think for me, the main factor is having a kid. Cuz I can still stay awake forever... I get up at 7 with Brent and the other night I was lying in bed wide awake at 2 still. Let me tell you how bad 7 sucked the next day :-)

And having "real" jobs makes partying all night a little harder. You want to be responsible and not go to work hung over (or still drunk like John did the day after his bachelor party, the dumbass)

I agree,

I love Nascar Racing. and recently I have bought stock in it. Not like real stock on Wall street, but a stock market that is strictly for sports.

You have seen it? Its pretty cool. You buy issues for your favorite teams and you make real money. Not like a fake stock simulator. I cash out Dividends each time the team wins. Also I can sell my team stock when the price goes up.

check it out if something like this interests you.
heres a link http://allsportsmarket.com
you can log in and check it out for free..

They just released IPO'S for Nascar Racing this week, so there are alot of good deals there.

Keep up the good work on your blog!
